How to Reach Bozcaada ?
You can reach via Truva Turizm - Metro Turizm and Kamil Koç from Istanbul - Kadıköy.
While the hours vary between summer and winter, you arrive at Ezine Bus Terminal around 07.00 a.m.
In winter, midi-buses will take you to Yükyeri İskelesi)
In the summer season, inter-city busses will take you up to Yükyeri İskelesi. |
Take TEM Motorway at Istanbul, turn to Tekirdağ at Kınalı, and you will reach Eceabat after Keşan.
Then you will pass to Çanakkale via the Ferry (we recommend that you pass to Çanakkale through Kilitbahir via small ferries instead of Eceabat)
Then drive in İzmir direction, follow the arrow on the right that will direct you to Bozcaada, reach Geyikli after Mahmudiye, and following the direction arrow, you arrive at Yükyeri İskelesi.
(If you miss the arrow showing Bozcaada direction, you can turn right at Ezine, follow the road to Geyikli, and reach Yükyeri İskelesi.)
Departure from Istanbul and checking in the hotel on the island takes 5 hours on average. Total distance is 450 km.
Additionally you can take the ferry from Istanbul - Yenikapı to Bandırma, and reach Ezine over Lapseki - Çanakkale. This alternative is short ( 160 km ).
